Unwavering from her usual subdued sense of styling, Branquinho’s Autumn Winter 2003 collection emphasized a bookish, collegiate look. Her penchant for muted colors remained intact this season as she mixed earthy plaids with her usual kilts and knitwear. This collection, however, featured a new sense of elegance and evening-wear that the designer had not tapped into until recently. These offerings included rose petal dresses, lurex tops, and refined capelets. This blazer is done in woven wool, features a single button closure, and removable capelet that hits at the elbow and falls generously on the back.
