Undercover’s Spring Summer 2006 “T” collection drew inspiration from 60s and 70s German Krautrock bands. Takahashi, along with his close friend and mastermind behind Hysteric Glamor, Nobuhiko Kitamura, worked together to envision five theoretical bands. They created clothes, graphics, records, and even backstage passes for each of the bands in order to paint all-encompassing auras of representation for the groups. This long sleeve tee features another one of SS06 T’s signature motifs: netted mesh overlays. This specific tee is a “One-Off,” one of the many variations of unique pieces which were given out at concerts or to friends. It stands apart from many of the rest, as it boasts the graphics of both Undercover’s maxim, “We Make Noise Not Clothes” and Comme des Garçons.
