Number (N)ine's Spring Summer 2004 collection “Dream Baby Dream” was named after the Suicide song off of their “Ghost Riders” 1986 album. Takahiro Miyashita’s punk inspiration is evident with the show displaying exposed blackout zipper details, leopard prints, greaser style leather outwear, sleeveless tops, and fringed fishnet mesh tops, seen here. Alongside the clothes, the show’s playlist featured songs from Nino Rota, The Clash, Richard Hell & The Voidoids, The Vibrators, Buzzcocks, The Boys, Ramones, and Johnny Thunders. Skeletal renders of these punk icons were used as motifs for this season’s tees. This Black and Red mesh sweater ties into Miyashita’s consistent Cobain influence done with an aggressive wide neck, fitted arms, and fringed hems.
