Number (N)ine Double Skull Longsleeve Tee - SS04 “Dream Baby Dream”
Details Number (N)ine’s Spring Summer 2004 collection paid tribute to the global punk movement of the ’70s. Takahiro played British Punk during the runway show introducing his collection with The Clash’s, “London Calling.” Outfits reminiscent of London and New York punks featured, leather motorcycle jackets, ill-fitting suits, as well as the classic wallet chains visible on all of the early punk movement’s pioneers. The collection takes its name from Suicide’s, “Dream Baby Dream,” Takahiro pays homage to frontman Alan Vega with his use of leather accessories and disheveled looks on the runway. This long sleeve t-shirt is done in black cotton features the classic NN skull printed graphic on the chest. The back has a graphic skeletal render of The Clash bassist, Paul Simonon smashing a bass on a stage floor. Due to the age and limited production of these t-shirts, the long sleeve iterations have become increasingly scarce on the market.
