by Takahiro MiyashitaSize 3Background
Takahiro Miyashita first began his career in fashion by working for a few different editorials. He eventually transitioned into design. Miyashita gained an appreciation for Americana, specifically rock ’n roll, and took lots of his inspiration from this scene. He became popular via the new-wave Harajuku movement along with various other Japanese designers. After gaining this widespread recognition in Japan, Miyashita had his first international show in Paris for his AW2004 “Give Peace a Chance” Collection.
