Background
Number (N)ine's Autumn Winter 2002 collection was named after the 1965 Beatles song “Nowhere Man.” Takahiro Miyashita’s work featured chocolate and ivory fabrics, Americana inspired designs and mud processes. Alongside the clothes, the show featured the George Harrison songs Ballad Of Sir Frankie Crisp (Let It Roll) and My Sweet Lord. AW08 “My Private Portland” would go on to explore similar themes. This brown Cowichan sweater features an image of George Harrison from "All Things Must Pass" as well as the “Om” symbol on the chest. Done in heavyweight brown wool, it features raglan shoulders, a Riri closure, and a single leather-wrapped button.
