Hussein Chalayan contemplates the temporality of spaces and places, and how they change in relation to politics, history, and events. Modern travel and aviation were other points of reference for the collection. Pockets on outerwear were designed with these factors in mind. The designer even attached fabric strips to items that invited customers to meet at Heathrow airport in London. This meeting was orchestrated to be a personable giveaway for items that would fit inside the pockets of the garments.
This sweater features an open panel on the back of the garment and a kangaroo pocket.
