Background
In his Autumn Winter 1997 runway show, Helmut Lang debuted a range of modern, military-inspired garments including a bulletproof vest, which has since become a magnum opus of the collection. Kevlar, Goose Down, Nylon, and Poly-Wool blend make up the various iterations of said vest. This Goose Down meld is an insulated offering similar to its Nylon predecessor, maintaining the ethos of the bulkier, more aggressive AW97 Nylon version. Along with some alterations such as the velcro's extension atop the body opposed to the rugged curves seen on the Nylon counterpart. This vest is done in an excellent creme tone with Goose Down filling.
