Background
Final Home was founded by Miyake Design Office's Kosuke Tsumura in 1994. The survival track pant's inception comes from the idea if he lost his house due to war, disaster, or unemployment what clothing he could create. The track pants conceptualization stems from the theory of adaptation of the cold, hunger, and health. Two fully functional zippers run down the pants with pockets made for storing newspaper for warmth, survival food, or medical emergency kits. As the brand's name Final Home implies, it is the idea that the parka and track pants are the ultimate shelter.
