Deepti first honed her skills as a designer after graduating from Central Saint Martins in 2005. She would then join the prodigious Carol Christian Poell in his Milan studio as a pattern maker. After numerous collections as the lead pattern maker in his studio, Deepti would branch off from Poell in 2012 to establish a new garment line under her namesake. The menswear label is focused on the innovative use of textiles and masterful tailoring. The pieces are hand made and produced in small quantities to ensure there are no shortcuts in terms of quality. Deepti’s use of silver and blending of new textiles into traditional fabrics makes for unique pieces like silver-infused parka’s and stone covered accessories. The artisan only creates one collection every year. Resulting in a more uniform work of artistic expression. This blazer is done in a hand felted wool fabrication that creates one of a kind textures throughout the entirety of the garment. The interior of the jacket is lined with a cupro and finished with a striped trim piping throughout. Interior pockets and Deepti needle that can be used as an accessory.
