Details
A defining moment in Carol Christian Poell’s oeuvre Spring Summer 2004’s “Mainstream-Downstream” showed the designer pushing the boundaries of garment construction, presentation, and art. His show took place on the Naviglio Grande canal in Milan, where models floated sibylline against the current. The pieces were constructed out of uniquely made and treated fabrics, including, transparent horse leather, rubber knitwear, and object dyed boots. These trousers are done in a textured cotton fabrication and feature a hook and bar closure with an adjustable strap on the waist.
