Background Attachment is a Japanese label that was launched by designer Kazuyuki Kumagai in 1998. He worked with Issey Miyake in 1990-1995, where he mastered alternative construction techniques. The label is known for re-working fashion basics into simple pieces that mix streetwear and high-fashion elements through its use of intriguing cuts.
