Details Undercover’s Autumn Winter 2002 collection “Witch’s Cell Division” is shaped by classic pop-culture Witch imagery and Robots. The two subcultures make an unlikely but fun-loving pair in this collection, blending a darker color pallet with the whimsical imagery of robots. Transformer’s being one of the clear influences for the collection, incorporates the mutable aspects of these robots in each piece by adding unconventional fabrics to familiar silhouettes giving them a transmutable shape.Made in two colorways, (a black-on-grey and white-on-black iteration), the rugs were made in low quantities, only fifty in total for the collection. The cross motif was perhaps the most prevalent graphic in “Witch's Cell Division”, with Jun printing it on outerwear, sweaters, and bottoms throughout the collection. This particular rug is done in the white-on-black iteration.
