    Details
Tom Ford began his career in fashion after working at Chloe while studying architecture and fashion at The New School. After securing a design job at Cathy Hardwick Ford found a place at Gucci as the womenswear ready-to-wear designer. Ford became notorious at the label for his provocative ad campaigns. After a few years designing both men's and women's collections, footwear, and bags Ford was promoted to creative director in 1994 following the departure of Dawn Mello. During this period Gucci grew exponentially, with Ford’s sultry advertising campaigns making the brand a household name. This jacket is done in orange suede and features snap-button closure and pockets along with a wave patch on the chest.
