First introduced in the Spring Summer 1997 collection, the “Helmut Lang Jeans” label was synonymous with the 90s and early 2000s style zeitgeist. The sartorial denim line reimagined classic Levi’s cuts with unique fabrications and treatments. His initial denim offerings featured cuts inspired by vintage Levi’s jeans, like the 1947 501 XX model that made up the pattern for his standard cut pair of jeans. This shirt jacket is done in a thick denim fabrication and features a hidden placket on the chest and hidden button pockets.
