Details After leaving behind his beloved Number (N)ine label Takahiro Miyashita founded The Soloist. A more equestrian take on menswear, with innovative fabric techniques and garments reminiscent of 19th-century peasant wears. For Autumn Winter 2017’s “Alternative Tentacle”, Miyashita turned his attention to western-wear with an eclectic mix of tailoring and technical fabrics. Dark cashmere and gabardine blended seamlessly with shimmering nylons and ripstop textiles. Subtle details like black leather trims, velcro, and buckle hardware decorated the garments while adding durability and function. This oversized jacket is done in wool fabrication and features a zip closure, with an attached hood, nylon fabric on the neck, and drawstring hem. Velcro cargo pockets on the chest and sleeves, along with straps on the hood for extreme weather conditions and face covering.
