Fall 2000 was Helmut Langs minimalist collection. His pieces were, as usual, timeless sharp-cut suits, mac coats, and billowing skirts and dresses. There was very little adornment in the collection, with Helmut sticking to his classics and adding transparent layers for minimal embellishment. A collarless designed coat with paneled construction, full silk lining, and hidden-button placket.
